“The only true equalizer in the world are books; the only treasure-house open to all comers is a library; the only wealth which will not decay is knowledge; the only jewel which you can carry beyond the grave is wisdom.”

–J. A. Langford

We are the Llano County Library System Foundation or LCLSF. The Library System includes three branch libraries: Kingsland, Lakeshore and Llano.

The Llano County Library System Foundation is formed as a 501(c)(3) organization and exists to solicit and collect funds for the Llano County Library System as a whole, not for any specific branch.

Our library system is extremely important to the County.  Library System personnel maintain an aggressive schedule of programs for young children and home-schoolers as well as programs and educational classes for adults.  Services are available to all public and private school students.  These reading and study programs are not available through any other local resource.

An endowment fund with Highland Lakes Legacy Funds was established in 2015.  Money that is deposited with this fund will be held as a basis for future growth.  Only interest earned on the account can be used.  The account is reviewed annually and interest is re-invested.

Use the “DONATE” link above if you wish to contribute.
